Community Scope and Engagement Philosophy
The communities that the Company focuses on are primarily those surrounding its operational sites, mainly covering Guanyin District in Taoyuan City and neighboring areas. In promoting corporate social responsibility, Chung Hwa Chemical continuously encourages and supports employees to participate in various social care and public welfare initiatives, including the collection and recycling of second-hand clothing and shoes. These efforts respond to local and societal needs, cultivate employees’ sense of civic responsibility, and gradually shape a corporate culture of social responsibility.
Through interaction and collaboration with local residents, community groups, and nonprofit organizations, the Company aligns its corporate resources with community needs, implementing the concept of giving back to society, generating positive social impact, and promoting community development and local well-being. In recent years, the Company has continuously participated in and organized multiple social welfare and community care activities, further strengthening the connection between the enterprise and the local community.

Community Feedback
Environmental Protection | Safeguarding Marine Ecosystems
The Company participated in the “Joint Autumn Beach Cleaning Activities in Taoyuan, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, and Miaoli”, working together with local organizations and residents to clean the coastal environment. A total of 3,160 kilograms of marine debris were removed. Through these concrete actions, the Company helps reduce marine pollution and contributes to marine conservation.
Social Welfare | Supporting Vulnerable Groups and Caring for Employees
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Company purchased 262 boxes of mooncakes (totaling NT$138,860) from the private Guanyin Charity Home in Taoyuan City , supporting the sustainable operations of institutions serving people with disabilities. At the same time, this initiative conveyed corporate care and festive greetings to employees.
Community Sustainability | Promoting Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction
The Company sponsored the “Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Mid-Autumn Lucky Draw Event” organized by the Shulin Village Community Development Association, with a donation of NT$10,000. The initiative encouraged residents to practice energy conservation and carbon reduction in their daily lives, contributing to the development of a sustainable community.
Community Care | Strengthening Neighborhood Cohesion
The Company supported a Christmas community event organized by the “Da Guan New Life Center” by donating five electric hot pots (with a total value of NT$9,900) as raffle prizes. This initiative helped promote interaction among neighbors and foster community integration.
Public Welfare Collaboration | Advancing Social Care Together
The Company launched a rice fundraising campaign in collaboration with employees, contributing a total of 440 bags of rice to the “Andrew Charity Association”. Of these, the Company donated 200 bags, representing a contribution of NT$20,000, to support food assistance for underprivileged families.
